About Officer Training

Officer Training is an educational leadership experience and is designed to provide chapter officers with learning focused on serving others, chapter operations, and how to create an officer success plan. The focus of Officer Training is servant leadership which in turn allows participants to focus on member retention, teamwork, conflict resolution, and compromise. This experience will seek to provide participants with an overview of servant leadership and with the necessary tools to create and sustain a chapter success plan which will lead to increased member engagement and retention. Additional education centers on general leadership skills, understanding AKPsi’s structure, risk management, and individual officer role-based breakouts.

Once the block is full, whether it is before or after the cut-off date, regular hotel rates will be in effect.

Attendees are responsible for contacting the hotel directly to arrange accommodations. All guests must provide photo ID on-site at each hotel in order to check-in and receive keys to their rooms. Photo ID must match name on room reservation or access to the hotel may be denied.

Reimbursement Stipend

What is the reimbursement stipend?

The reimbursement is money the fraternity will provide only to those collegiate chapters with at least four core officers in attendance for both Officer Training and the Leadership Pathway in its entirety. The purpose is to help cover some of the costs incurred.

When will the reimbursement stipend be provided?

The reimbursement will be distributed after the event in order to verify who was in attendance for both Officer Training and  the Leadership Pathway.

How do I receive the reimbursement stipend?

The reimbursement will be issued as a chapter credit – based and confirmed on attendance. At least at least four core officers must be in attendance.

How much will my chapter be reimbursed?

Chapters will be given a $200 reimbursement based on attendance at PBLI/OT according to the minimum standard.

How may I use the reimbursement stipend?

The reimbursement may be used at your chapter’s discretion. However, it is recommended to use the reimbursement to help offset the hotel cost.
