Faculty & Honorary Membership

Faculty and Honorary membership is bestowed to individuals who have made significant contributions or demonstrated a commitment to the fraternity.

Faculty Membership

Eligibility

Nominee: Individual in the university community and is not a member of a competing business fraternity.

Qualification: Significant contribution to the study of business or to a chapter.

Recommendation: Recognize your faculty advisor(s) by giving them faculty membership!

Marks of Distinction

Faculty initiate receives:

– Membership certificate
– Membership card
– Recognition button

Available for an additional purchase: An official faculty membership key (Indicate on form below.)

Fast Facts

Who can nominate: Collegiate and alumni chapters

Initiation Fee: $15 handling fee
(first presentation of fiscal year)
*$65 for each additional presentation

Ritual: Initiation of Faculty Members (upon receiving membership materials)

Application Process

Step 1: Ensure requirements have been met (refer to eligibility requirements)

Step 2: Complete form below at least two (2) weeks prior to desired presentation.

Step 3: Heritage Center processes and ships materials (application also acts as initiate reporting).

Honorary Membership

Eligibility

Nominee: Is not eligible to be initiated as a student or faculty member and is not a member of a competing business fraternity.

Qualification: Demonstrated commitment to the fraternity and/or is a prominent business leader and represents the fraternity’s core values.

Note: Chapter must vote in favor of nomination.

Application Process

Step 1: Obtain nominee’s professional biography (include profession, honors and achievements).

Step 2: Complete form below at least three (3) weeks prior to desired presentation.

Step 3: Heritage Center requests approval from chapter advisor, regional director and fraternity president.

Application

This form may be used to submit up to three (3) applications at a time. Additional applications may be submitted by completing the form separately.

The total cost displayed on this form is not final. It may be adjusted after submitting the form. The number of faculty/honorary applications the chapter submitted for this fiscal year must be verified to determine to the final cost. The chapter will be notified if an adjustment is made.
